Position: Costume Assistant for Theatre Productions

As a part of the York Theatre team, you’ll be responsible for creating, tracking, and maintaining costumes for various theatre productions. This role is ideal for students in their second, third, or fourth year at York University with previous theater production experience. Attention to detail and the ability to lift equipment are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain costumes for theatre performances

• Track and organize costume inventory

• Communicate instructions and details effectively

• Adhere to policies and procedures regarding costume care

• Lift and move materials as needed

Requirements:

• Enrolled as a York student in year 2, 3, or 4

• Previous experience in theater production

• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to demonstrate attention to detail

• Willingness to carry equipment of varying weights
