In this part-time role, you will support major productions at The Second City’s Studio Theatre, managing sound, lighting, and video systems. Collaborating with diverse teams, you'll set up production equipment and maintain production quality through effective communication. Those with a background in theater and stage management will thrive in this fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and monitor sound, lighting, and video systems
• Set up and strike production equipment efficiently
• Work closely with directors and production managers
• Collaborate with other staff and talent for smooth events
• Report technical issues and file production documentation
Requirements:
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite for documentation
• Capacity to lift up to 20 lbs
• Required experience with AV technology and stage management
• Familiarity with techniques for improv and sketch shows recommended
• Knowledge of QLab and lighting consoles advantageous
