The Responsible Gambling Council seeks a part-time Education and Prevention Coordinator for its Play Smart Centre program. You will educate patrons about gambling, promote informed choices, and connect players or affected individuals with available services. Experience or education in social work, social services, adult education, health promotion, or related fields is relevant.
Key Responsibilities:- Increase awareness of the Play Smart Centre Program
- Engage players and answer gambling-related questions
- Direct individuals toward available services and supports
- Deliver activities supporting positive play habits
- Build relationships with casino and charitable gaming staff
- Experience or education in a related field
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Empathy when handling sensitive situations
- Flexibility for weekday, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Valid G Class Driver’s License and frequent local travel
