A career as a Senior Credit Analyst / Credit Analyst in the team of Risk Management, at China Construction Bank Toronto Branch is to act as a credit specialist. This job allows you to have a positive impact on our organization through your expertise in financial analysis, credit structuring, and risk management in a corporate lending environment.
Key Tasks- Prepare credit risk reviews and recommendations on credit applications/proposals, including but not limited to internal risk ratings, credit line and credit business.
- Analyze financial statements and cash flow projections to assess clients' creditworthiness and risk levels.
- Provide research and analysis of a borrower-specific and industry-wide business risks.
- Ensure adherence to credit standards, security requirements, internal policies and risk appetite and regulatory guidelines in all lending activities.
- Collaborate with partners in corporate banking and risk to support lending decisions and client strategies.
- Perform portfolio reviews and identify early warning signs of existing customers and ensure accuracy of internal ratings and risk classifications.
- Responsible for key industry studies and preparing industry research reports.
- Other tasks assigned by Head of Risk Management Department.

Prerequisites- Hold a bachelor's degree in business or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in commercial and corporate lending.
- Demonstrated experience in credit analysis, adjudication, and risk management.
- Proven ability to analyze financial statements and build cash flow models.
- Knowledge of corporate lending practices and credit structuring.
- Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and professionalism in all interactions.

- Strong oral and written communication in English;
Mandarin and simplified Chinese an asset - Familiarity with PC based applications with a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power point, Access)
