Purpose

The Equity Assistant works closely with the Equity Administrator to ensure the efficiency of day‑to‑day operations for the Global Equity Derivatives business. As the Equity Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of service is provided for both internal and external clients. You will also be responsible for escalating issues as needed to management and have the opportunity to support the training and supervision of interns.

What

You’ll Do
  • Support for the Global Equity Derivatives team
  • Entry of invoices in PRC payment system, including troubleshooting on payments, vendor inquiries and reconciliation. Key liaison with GBM Finance.
  • Key role in Salesforce data management and client interaction recording
  • Key contributor for corporate access activities – RSVPs, schedules, logistics.
  • Active user of Tier1 CRM and global calendar
  • Research distribution liaison with research client services team
  • Filing, scanning, binding, preparation of marketing packages, as directed
  • Interest in learning about and assisting with all aspects of equity client‑related activities
  • Setting up ad hoc conference calls and provides client‑meeting concierge services as needed
  • Act on requests for all client‑related requests from management, colleagues, vendors – in consultation with manager
  • Day‑to‑day interaction with internal colleagues and external vendors (including internal room bookings, reservations, deliveries, etc.)
  • Maintain documentation of procedures
  • Identify issues, elevate as required.

Work Arrangement

This position is currently a Hybrid role, with the expectation that you will work 3‑4 days a week in the office. Please note that this is subject to change based on the needs of the business.
