Credit & Collections Specialist

Location:

Job Responsibilities:

Analyze new and existing accounts to assess credit risk; approve and set limits & payment terms in accordance with credit policy and authorization level

Communicate frequently with customers to ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables this includes both phone and email communication with customer

Conduct analyses to determine causes and cures for delinquency

Communicate customers' status to management and sales teams

Provide reports as required

Performs other ad hoc duties as required

Qualifications:

Minimum years of experience working in credit and/or accounts receivable.

Manufacturing experience

Post-secondary diploma in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.

Strong Analytical skills is a must

Working experience and knowledge of MS Office applications (Intermediate Excel)

Detailed oriented with strong follow-up skills

Able to work in a fast paced, busy department.

Exceptional written, listening, and verbal communication skills.
