Position: FP&A Business Partner (12-month contract)

Who You Will Work With:

This vacant FP&A Business Partner (12 month contract) role will report directly to the Leader FP&A, Client, Strategy & Marketing. The FP&A Business Partner will play a key role in financial planning activities, working closely with business partners to support budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and decision-making.

What You Will Do:

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning across the Strategy & Marketing and Client organizations.

  • Develop financial models and reports, meeting with business teams to summarize financial trends and provide insight to the senior management team.

  • Lead monthly functional department reviews with business owners, investigating variances to plan.

  • Implement process improvements in support of financial objectives.

  • Ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.

  • What You bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • A value-driven mindset, with a proven history of partnering with business users to improve processes and develop solutions that achieve organizational goals.

  • Experience with large data sets, producing valuable insights to support strategic decisions.

  • Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to create complex formulas, pivot tables, and models.

  • A solid understanding of accounting principles, particularly in relation to expense recognition.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial principles to non-financial users.

  • Agility and adaptability, comfort with ambiguity, and a drive for continuous learning.

  • Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.

  • What We’re Offering:

    The hiring range for this position is $95,000 to $110,000. The exact amount will depend on factors such as skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, but Interac’s commitment goes beyond compensation.
