Senior Practice Consultant, Private Banking

:This role is accountable to drive practice enhancement, engagement and coaching with Private Bankers.
The incumbent will be a subject matter expert who will engage with private bankers, advisors and leaders in a practice discovery and solution process and serve as a consultant who delivers solutions that harness the full scope of Practice Management (PM) across prospecting, value proposition Creation, Discovery, Planning, Credit Acumen, driving retail relationships and consulting across all areas of running and growing a practice through various stages of the practice lifecycle.
This individual will also be adept at implementing tactical Practice Management initiatives at the leader and private banker level.
The role will involve thought leader delivery for larger groups as well as deskside, one-on-one, and teamengagementsand extensive travel will be required.
Areas of key focus will involve equipping the Market Managers and Private Bankers to grow through greater efficiency andan optimalapproach to their practice. They will also enhance the field's ability to build their books through prospecting, internal referrals, consolidation strategies, building a consistently delivered brand, providing tangible value, teamdevelopmentand efficiency.
Job Requirements:
• Proventrack recordin the delivery of Mass Affluent & HNW advice and solutions to clients.
• 10 plusyears
Sales Leadership, Coaching, Training, Private Bankingand/or Advisory experience.
• Excellent presentation skills and a history of one on one and group coaching.
• Forward looking thought leader, with problem solving skills, an understanding of practice optimization and the ability to develop pragmatic effective solutions.
• Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and demonstrate proper discipline around review cycles, timelines, implementation, and sustainment
• Strong ability to work independently and self-source solutions
• Ability to guide others to a desired conclusion and have the ability to influence and drive accountability
• Knowledge of TD Wealth & Private Banking products, systems, procedures and structure
• Understanding of Private Wealth Management business; credit acumen, banking regulations and procedures
• Subject Matter Expertise or any industry certifications/accreditations such as CSC, IFIC, CRS, CSWP, CIM, TEP, PFP,PFPc, CFP, CFA would be considered an asset
• Team player that is able to help others understand complex issues and is able to influence a diverse group to a common goal.
• Strong collaborative skills and experience partnering with business units
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate to a diverse audience
• Coaching designations such as ACC, PCC through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) or other, would be considered an asset.
• Consulting certifications such as Kolbe, Strengths Finder, DISC, Myers-Briggs would also be considered an asset.
Additional Information:
The successful candidate must be comfortable with regular regional travel to meet with Private Bankers and branch teams.
