Job Description

Our client, a leading organization is seeking a Senior Controller for a 3-month contract to support financial reporting across its European entities—primarily Germany, Denmark, and the UK.

This is a high-impact Controller role reporting directly to the CFO, ideal for someone with deep experience in European financial operations, especially within German business units and CPA designated.

• Lead and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes for European entities
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with local GAAP and IFRS
• Collaborate with local finance teams and external auditors to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Provide insights and analysis to the CFO on financial performance and variances
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in Germany, Denmark, and the UK
• Utilize SAP and, ideally, Datev for financial consolidation and reporting
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation

• CPA or equivalent designation
• Proven senior-level controllership experience
• Hands‑on support of European entities (Germany preferred)
• Familiarity with Datev (German reporting tool) – strong asset
• SAP expertise
