Job Description What is the opportunity?
RBC Cards is Canada’s leading credit card business and a key driver of RBC’s financial and business success. Over the past five years, the business has grown significantly, fueled by our robust suite of credit card products and innovative strategies. Meanwhile, the needs and expectations of our High-Net-Worth (HNW) and Private Banking credit card clients are evolving rapidly. To deliver market-leading experiences and value propositions to these clients, RBC is expanding its focus on the HNW Credit Card segment.
Whatwill you do?
Monitor and report on the HNW cards portfolio’s P&L and key metrics, managing financial performance and optimizing for growth and profitability.
Manage APP product escalations, operational activities, and process enhancements to ensure best-in-class client and advisor servicing and card operations.
Conduct data analysis to uncover insights and identify opportunities for improved cardholder engagement and wallet share; build business cases to articulate strategic opportunities.
Collaborate with Cards, Loyalty, and Private Banking teams to develop differentiated card offerings, experiences, and services tailored to HNW clients.
Research consumer behavior, competitive trends, and emerging opportunities to inform the HNW Cards strategy.
Proactive, self-motivated, and driven to deliver impact in complex, ambiguous environments; highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize shifting demands.
Strong critical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to integrate information from multiple sources and solve complex problems.
Understanding of financial product business drivers, paired with robust financial and data analysis skills for reporting and business case development.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners.
Strong client focus and orientation.
Experience managing credit card products or segments.
Experience working with client-facing banking advisors (e.g., Private Bankers, Commercial Bankers).
Familiarity with credit card operations, systems, and third-party partnerships.
