About the Opportunity

• Manage and monitor all GL accounts, subledgers, and reconciliations ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Close month ends within 10 business days
• Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, upholding federal, state, and local legal standards by remaining knowledgeable about existing, new, and future legislation
• Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflow
• Contribute to the accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity

About You

• Accounting Designation required (CPA, CA, or CPA, CMA)
• University Degree or an advanced degree in finance and accounting
• 5+ years experience as a senior-level accounting or finance manager
• Experience working in or with large retailers in trade management, deductions or similar that impact expected profitability
• Strong understanding of banking processes
• Ability to coach and mentor other finance team members
• SAP ERP experience a plus
• Ability to adapt quickly

Salary Range

$120,000 - $130,000/year
