Our client is a highly successful and well-established growth equity investor, that invests globally in Series A to E companies. With so much growth happening in technology, this could be the position you are looking for. Toronto based and must be willing to work in the GTA, but a hybrid working model. The Associate will work with a tight knit group of investors and with underlying portfolio companies to help them scale and grow.

• Conducting Market Research, Due Diligence and Financial Modelling
• Underwriting investments and follow-ons
• Portfolio value creation and governance, fundraising, and investment structuring
• Develop strong relationships with executives at the portfolio companies to help identify and create opportunities for growth.
• Develop a strong network of relationships with investors, partners and market experts
• Build expertise in various technology trends, vertical markets, thesis areas, and perform comprehensive research on specific companies and industries.
• Handle various aspects of investment due diligence, including business model, market, management, competitive analysis, financial/returns modeling, cap table analysis, and legal diligence.

• Strong financial analytics/modeling to support the role of an investment underwriter in technology

• You likely have 3-4 years of experience in Investment Banking, Growth Equity, Private Equity, Secondaries, or Co-investments. Tech sector experience an asset.
• Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
