About the Role
As part of our Global Executive Risks (D&O) actuarial pricing team, you'll leverage cutting-edge data-driven techniques to execute portfolio goals. Your technical actuarial expertise and business acumen will enable you to effectively communicate analytical findings to global partners, directly influencing portfolio profitability and contributing to our Business Unit's overall performance.

About the Team
We are an actuarial team providing support to global Executive Risks (D&O). Key responsibilities for our team include loss ratio projections, rating plan development, model calibration and actuarial pricing support. We work closely with our business partners and encourage technical innovation that supports traditional methods. Our team comprises of qualified and student Actuaries who are an integral part to Swiss Re Cor So.
We are part of the Underwriting Unit and report to the Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO).
About You
We're seeking an ambitious, trustworthy, and enthusiastic team player who is passionate about advancing their actuarial career. You'll need excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively to diverse audiences. You're a self-starter who takes initiative and implements measures in a goal-oriented manner.

Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week.
For London, the annual base salary range for this position is between GBP 40 000 and GBP 60 000 (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
The base salary hiring range for this existing position located in Toronto is CAD $74,000 to $92,000. The specific base salary offered for this or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget. At Swiss Re, we take a "total compensation approach" when making compensation decisions.
This means that we consider all components of compensation in their totality (such as base pay, short-and long-term incentives, and benefits offered), in setting individual compensation.
