Finance Assistant

Baka Pozd Business Consultancy is a professional consulting firm based in Toronto, providing strategic business, financial, and operational advisory services to a diverse range of clients. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Finance Assistant to support our finance team with daily accounting and financial operations. This role is ideal for a candidate who is analytical, organized, and eager to grow within a consultancy environment.

• Assist with day-to-day financial and accounting tasks, including data entry and record keeping.
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and follow-ups.
• Prepare and maintain financial documents, vouchers, and supporting records.
• Assist in bank reconciliations and monitoring of cash flow.
• Support the preparation of monthly and periodic financial reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients to collect required financial information.
• Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial data and records.
• Assist senior finance staff during audits and reviews.

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, or similar role.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail with good numerical and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
