About the Opportunity   Prepare and review accounting records and financial reports for a portfolio that includes High Net Worth individuals, corporations, and partnerships
Compile documentation for external professional service providers to support tax compliance requirements across Canada, the United States, and other jurisdictions
Assist external advisors with the preparation of U.S. income tax returns and related filings for holding and investment entities
Manage correspondence with tax authorities, reconcile tax accounts, and prepare reports for internal stakeholders
Support tax audits through analysis, information gathering, and documentation of findings
Develop and implement processes to ensure timely and accurate income tax compliance
Coordinate with external service providers across multiple jurisdictions to meet tax and business objectives efficiently
Participate in planning and executing repatriation transactions, identifying tax implications and proposing alternative approaches
Collaborate with senior leadership on Canadian and international tax planning initiatives to enhance operational and tax efficiency
Contribute to special projects such as mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and estate planning
Monitor and communicate relevant tax developments affecting High Net Worth individuals and corporate entities
About You   Professional accounting designation (CPA)
3–5 years of progressive experience in public accounting or an industry tax role
Completion of, or current enrollment in, the CPA In Depth Tax Program or a Master of Taxation
Salary Range
$95,000  to $105,000 / per year
