A career in our growing Merger and Acquisition Tax practice, within our Tax Line of service, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients in various industries to meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever-changing tax specialties. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis and M&A tax solutions.

Our team helps our clients with various aspects of merger and acquisition transactions such as transaction structuring, tax due diligence, internal reorganizations, and post-acquisition integration. As part of our team, you’ll have opportunities to assist with assessing historical tax risks of potential targets, analyzing proposed transactions for unusual tax risks or undetermined tax benefits, advising clients on tax-efficient restructurings, and performing financial analysis / modeling to assess the tax consequences of specific transactions.

Experience And Skills You’ll Use To Solve

  • Proven and practical experience in M&A Tax. Keen interest on Technology and AI.
  • Experience in corporate and/or international tax research, Cross‑border transactions/or consulting and compliance in a professional services firm, industry, government agency or law firm is an asset.
  • A commitment to providing excellent client service and pride in delivering top quality work.
  • CPA, CA designation is an asset. Completion of the M.Tax Program or In‑Depth is a strong asset.
