Our client is a well established North American organization involved in the manufacturing and distribution of construction related products. They are seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to support their growing team.

- Prepare and review accounting records and financial reports for a portfolio that includes High Net Worth individuals, corporations, and partnerships
- Compile documentation for external professional service providers to support tax compliance requirements across Canada, the United States, and other jurisdictions
- Assist external advisors with the preparation of U.S. income tax returns and related filings for holding and investment entities
- Manage correspondence with tax authorities, reconcile tax accounts, and prepare reports for internal stakeholders
- Support tax audits through analysis, information gathering, and documentation of findings
- Develop and implement processes to ensure timely and accurate income tax compliance
- Coordinate with external service providers across multiple jurisdictions to meet tax and business objectives efficiently
- Participate in planning and executing repatriation transactions, identifying tax implications and proposing alternative approaches
- Collaborate with senior leadership on Canadian and international tax planning initiatives to enhance operational and tax efficiency
- Contribute to special projects such as mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and estate planning
- Monitor and communicate relevant tax developments affecting High Net Worth individuals and corporate entities
- Professional accounting designation (CPA)
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in public accounting or an industry tax role
- Completion of, or current enrollment in, the CPA In Depth Tax Program or a Master of Taxation
Salary Range
$95,000 to $105,000 / per year
