Within CIBC Capital Markets, ASG was launched in 2013 with a mandate to develop innovative and creative technology-driven capital markets solutions. This group is an unconventional capital markets organization that combines the innovative spirit and agility of a Fin Tech startup with the financial strength and strong governance protocol of a major financial institution.

ASG has been recognized as a global leader in providing disruptive technological capital markets solutions in several product areas including Cross Border Payments, Dynamic Currency Conversion, International Student Pay, Global Money Transfer, Foreign Cash and other money movement solutions.

You’ll be part of the team that focuses on understanding the Fin Tech industry & disruptive technologies that are revolutionizing traditional banking products and services with a particular focus on FX & payments. You’ll have an opportunity to support the ASG team with product development and growth along with sales and marketing across a number of client types including financial institutions, public sector clients, corporates, higher education institutions, small businesses, and CIBC’s retail branch network.

You may also have the opportunity to work with ASG leadership to increase Profit and Loss (PnL) and productivity and be measured on your ability to both expand product capability, distribution and grow PnL. You will be assigned to either a product team or a sales and distribution team, where you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with our leaders.

Your role will involve presenting insights from data analysis, developing effective solutions with timely execution, as well as continuously monitoring and analyzing market activities and economic factors throughout the day to respond promptly to client requests.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. To successfully perform the work, you’ll be on-site full-time.
