The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization. This role involves managing the accounting team, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The Accounting Manager will play a critical role in budget preparation, financial analysis, and process improvements, contributing to informed strategic decision‑making for the organization.

• Ensuring financial records are accurate and compliant, and produce financial reports
• Leading a team of accountants, providing training, mentorship, and ensuring they produce timely and accurate work
• Maintaining the general ledger system
• Monitoring spending, creating budgets, and ensuring resources are allocated properly
• Using financial data and reports to help the organization optimize its financial performance
• Researching accounting issues for compliance
• Ensuring the company complies with current tax regulations
• Establishing guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation
• Continual process and internal control improvement
• Ad hoc projects

• CPA (preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience
• Leadership/Team Management

• Excel
• IFRS and ASPE
• Team Management
• US State and county sales tax
