North Power Mortgages is a boutique mortgage brokerage located in the heart of Toronto’s Financial District serving thousands of clients across the city and the country.

As mortgage experts, we show our clients that we care about their needs first and foremost. In fact, understanding their needs is a very important part of the mortgage process. By understanding clients' needs, we can save them possibly thousands of dollars in potential payout penalties, extra legal fees, etc. We communicate with our client during the entire home-buying and mortgage-financing processes – and even after their mortgage has been funded.

This is a contract hybrid role for a Mortgage Agent based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada, with the flexibility to work partially from home. Responsibilities include assisting clients with mortgage applications, providing financial advice, evaluating clients' financial profiles, recommending suitable mortgage products, and building strong client relationships. The Mortgage Agent will also collaborate with financial institutions to process and finalize mortgage loans, as well as maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.

• Strong knowledge of the Mortgage Industry and experience with Mortgage Servicing processes
• Expertise in Mortgages, including navigating different types of mortgage products and understanding loan terminology
• Proficiency in Mortgage Marketing strategies and tools for client acquisition and retention
• Experience in Mortgage Lending, including assessing client creditworthiness and loan eligibility
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid environment
• Relevant licensing or certification required to operate as a Mortgage Agent in Ontario
