What will you do?
Below are some of the primary responsibilities you will be taking on in this role:
Complete monthly, quarterly, and yearly preparation & reporting of property financials including balance sheet, income statement, capital expenditures and leasing costs, annual operating cost recoveries, accounts receivable and bad debts/provisions;Prepare monthly property-level financial analysis for the property managers;Prepare revenue analysis and review for respective portfolio;Complete recovery ratio analysis and provide commentary;Participate in monthly operational/financial review meetings;Review, analyze and process property budgets.What type of experience do you have?
These are some of the things we would like you to bring to the table:
Undergraduate degree or college diploma in Accounting;At least 3+ years’ direct property accounting experience in Commercial Property Management and lease commercial property accounting;Strong organizational skills and the ability to deliver against tight deadlines;Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook;Strong people skills with ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization.It is considered an asset if you have experience in the following areas:
Experience with Canadian portfoliosCPA designation or in progress or completingExperience working in JDE
