What it’s like to be a Northbridge Senior Analyst, Reinsurance Reporting
Our Senior Analyst, Reinsurance Reporting play a crucial role for the organization. They are responsible for analyzing accounts as well as preparing financial information and reports for assumed and ceded reinsurance for a company or group of companies. They assist with complex reinsurance billing and collection reconciliations, offering action plans for the resolution of discrepancies and offer recommendations for improvements.
Our Senior Analyst, Reinsurance Reporting collaborate closely with other departments to ensure financial systems are updated accurately, maintaining working relationships and providing technical guidance when needed. They ensure that they understand and apply best business practices towards compliance, internal control, and operational risk controls in accordance with regulatory standards and policies.

If you are great at:
Conduct financial analysis related to insurance and reinsurance contracts.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Managing multiple and changing priorities, delivering results according to deadlines.
Understanding financial reporting issues, developing solutions, and producing results.
Reviewing, recording, and organizing written or numeric data.
If you have:
Post-secondary education with an emphasis on accounting or business administration or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CPA designation is an asset
Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial reporting or related field.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; advanced knowledge of Excel.
Thorough knowledge of the insurance industry and reinsurance accounting.

We’re committed to pay transparency and fairness. The base salary range for this role is $66,000 - $98,000, which reflects the expected base pay – not the total compensation package. The actual base salary may vary depending on your experience, skills, and alignment with the position. We’re also open to candidates at different levels, so if this range doesn’t quite match your expectations, don’t let that hold you back — we’d still love to hear from you.
