What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

Ensure compliance with Canadian MSB regulations and guidance from FINTRAC and the Bank of Canada

Draft and implement policies related to customer due diligence, risk assessments, and transaction monitoring

Lead AML/CTF audits for Remote’s Canadian entity and other North American activities

Maintain and update relevant compliance policies and procedures

Prepare and submit accurate reports to regulatory authorities

What is Required (Qualifications):

Extensive experience in the financial sector, particularly in Financial Crime Compliance

Expert knowledge of Canadian payments legislation, specifically MSB rules and RPAA

Previous experience in Compliance and Compliance Operations within a global financial services company

Must be a Canadian resident

Professional AML / MLRO certifications

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

Experience working in a USA AML compliance role is considered a plus

Familiarity with remote work practices is advantageous
