The Opportunity:
Our client is a leader in customized food solutions, and they are seeking a Finance and Accounting Consultant to support key financial operations during a transitional period. This role involves managing month-end processes, variance analysis, audit preparation, and assisting with an ERP migration.
Key Responsibilities:
Upload and consolidate financial results for head office reportingPrepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statementsAnalyze variances between actual results, budgets, and forecasts, including detailed commentaryPerform expense analysis to uncover key trends and issuesSupply financial data and documentation to auditors for the year-end audit (Dec 31)Conduct reconciliations for balance sheets, bank accounts, and inventoryAssist in transitioning Quebec operations to Syspro ERP (Q2 timeline)Support the preparation of monthly financial reports for private equity stakeholdersQualifications:
Experience in finance and accounting within manufacturing or related industriesStrong understanding of IFRSProficiency in financial reporting, variance analysis, and audit preparationFamiliarity with ERP systems (Syspro experience is a plus)Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsNext Steps:
