What will you work on?The senior accountant will be a key player in the financial closing of the North American and Digital Games entities at Spin Master. This hands-on role will support the month end close, PL analysis, and reporting of the results.
How will you create impact? Full cycle month end closing duties including but not limited to:
Weekly/monthly clearing of banking transactions to the appropriate g/lRecord payroll journal entries, including liaising with the Payroll team on various types of transactionsBusiness partnering with various teams in Finance (including Treasury, A/R, A/P, Entertainment Finance, Digital Games Finance, etc.)Prepare monthly bank account reconciliationsPrepare and maintain fixed assets registers including the computation of monthly depreciation chargesPrepare month-end journal entries and account analysisPrepare various month-end schedules, analysis and ad hoc reports as required to support month-end and quarter-end reportingProactively review current processes and seek ways to improve them through implementation of new tools or processesSupport all projects under the Company’s digital transformation initiatives impacting external financial reporting and disclosure processes and controlsSupport the internal and external audit processes including directly managing the relationship with the external audit teamWhat are your skills and experience?Experience with SAP is a mustPursuing a CPA designationThis job posting is tied to an open vacancy.
