A2Z Venture capital is a micro venture capital fund based in Toronto and San Francisco. The VC fund focuses on investing in startups utilizing Artificial Intelligence in Medicine. The venture capital industry is a growing field, and now is the best time to enter this field. A2Z venture is looking to train future leaders of the venture capital industry.

Responsibilities

Fundraising:  Schedule and participate in meetings with limited partners (High net worth Individuals/Angels, Family offices, Private Equity firms, pension funds, venture capital funds)

Thoroughly understand the thesis of the fund and explain to the limited partners

Scout:  Find and hold meetings with potential startups as per the thesis of the fund

Due diligence on the startups

B2B partnerships e.g. with accelerators, incubators

Marketing:  Monthly newsletters, market research, conducting/taking an interview

Ideal Candidates

No prior experience in Venture capital/Private equity is required. All necessary training will be provided on the job.

Must have work experience in Canada/USA.

Experience conducting boardroom meetings

Monthly time commitment:
Minimum 30 hours/month for 4 months.
