Your area of focusFinancial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) acts as a financial advisor and trusted business partner to actively support decision-making throughout Auto Canada. The FP&A Analyst will play a pivotal role in financial analysis, business planning, and internal reporting. We are looking for a curious, hard-working, and driven problem-solver with a ‘let’s-get-it-done’ attitude, eager to develop alongside our growing FP&A team.
What drives your day-to-day?- Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure timely delivery to Executive team and stakeholders
- Monitor, analyze, and report on the company’s financial performance against management and industry KPIs and budget
- Utilize financial knowledge and business acumen to evaluate capital investment decisions, and synthesize findings into cohesive recommendations
- Contribute to performance analysis and preparation of board materials
- Identify process and cost optimization opportunities across the business
- Assist with ad hoc reporting, analysis, and cross-functional projects
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related analytical field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in a SharePoint environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-finance stakeholders
- Ability to work with various large datasets and experience in translating numerous data points into actionable and easy to understand insights
