In this pivotal role, you will lead IFRS 9 and CECL credit risk modelling for Business Banking portfolios. You will leverage advanced programming skills, particularly in Python, to develop predictive models and conduct insightful analyses. Your work will contribute to financial reporting, compliance, and regulatory processes by using modern machine learning tools and engaging with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop predictive credit risk models for IFRS 9 and CECL
• Automate quarterly result analyses and SOX controls
• Collaborate with tech teams for model implementation
• Document processes and work with validation teams
• Support stress testing using IFRS 9 models
Requirements:
• Graduate degree in quantitative discipline or equivalent
• Proficiency in Python and excellent communication skills
• Experience in financial services with IFRS 9 or AIRB
• Familiarity with Linux/UNIX and version control software
• 1+ years of relevant experience preferred
