** The Senior Specialist provides financial decision support for the assigned manufacturing plants and is a key business partner to Plant Management in the Materials Solutions(MS)
Division.

The individual’s responsibilities are toassistin the maintenance of theplant cost accounting processes and to provide operational/cost accounting analysis in support of plant operations. This position will report tothe

Plant Finance Lead.

• Analyze,understand and interpret financial results; provide insightful and actionable feedback/recommendations for management inidentifyingopportunities for improvement.

• Support monthly/annualforecasting/budgeting;

• Ensure the plant financial forecasts and budgets are aligned with Operational,MSDivision and Corporate goals;

• Support the establishment of standard costing rates and partner with Operations to update material cost, BOM and routings for cost roll;

• Support and review proposedproductivity projects;

• Review/explainmanufacturingvariances;

• Business/Operationsdecisionsupportthrough analysis;

• Providetimelyplant results and drive accountability;

• Complete month end close tasks ensuring that financial statements related to the Plantsare properlystatedand conform togenerally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), including inventory valuations and reserve amounts;

• Provide financial education/training and guidance to non-finance employees.

• Travel

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Financewith 3-5years experience;

• Financialmodeling and analysis experience;

• Cost accounting knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment preferred;

• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and internal control concepts;

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills;

• Ability to work independently in a fast paced, dynamic global environment;

• Proactive, future-looking, positive attitude;

• Proficient SAP,Exceland PowerPoint skills;
  Business Objects and/or SAP BPC a plus;

• Strong communication skills; ability to summarize and clearly communicate financial analysis tonon-financial business partners.

• Successful business partnership with site, business unit and division leadership through forecast/budget alignment,timely communication of financial results/risks/opportunities and adhoc analyses/modeling support;

Compensation: $85,000.00-$ a year with actual pay dependent on candidate’s overall skills for the role
