EQ Specialized Finance Collateral Specialist

Become part of EQ’s Specialized Finance team as a Collateral Specialist, responsible for validating collateral compliance and supporting loan management processes in a hybrid work environment.

This role focuses on ensuring that collateral linked to specialized finance transactions aligns with credit agreements. You will be engaged in daily loan setup and tracking using PPlus while also managing borrower reporting and processing draw requests for timely fund disbursement. Your contributions to various projects will provide essential insights for senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate collateral against credit agreements daily

• Track and maintain loans with PPlus updates

• Process and review draw requests for compliance

• Prepare in-depth reports for management needs

• Collaborate with internal teams on compliance checks

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree regarded as an asset

• At least 1 year in commercial mortgage roles

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Knowledge of PPlus preferred

• Strong analytical and communication skills
