Position: Analyst for External Managers Portfolio
Join CPP Investments as an Analyst in External Portfolio Management on a 12-month contract in Toronto, focusing on hedge fund analysis and co-investment evaluation. You'll work closely with a collaborative team to drive impactful investment strategies.

In this role, you will support the Funds Selection and Portfolio Construction teams, providing broad exposure to investment analysis and risk management. Expect a dynamic work environment where your analytical and strategic skills will enhance investment outcomes and portfolio performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate hedge fund performance and manage EPM portfolio risk

• Conduct due diligence on external investment managers' strategies

• Analyze co-investment opportunities in various asset classes

• Execute quantitative and qualitative investment research

• Prepare presentations and support strategic initiatives

Requirements:

• Enrolled in a degree program with graduation after April 2026

• Insight into public capital markets and alternative investments

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with analytical tools is beneficial

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Aspiration to pursue CFA or CAIA designation
