Job Description Summary

Conduct advanced financial analysis and lead finance activities across close-cycle reporting, management reporting, planning / forecasting, allocations, governance, and issue resolution. The role applies strong finance process knowledge to produce meaningful analysis, executive-ready materials, and practical recommendations while driving reporting consistency, control discipline, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement.

• Analyze supported business area performance against plan, prior year, forecast, business cases, and other reference points; investigate and clearly communicate variances, drivers, emerging risks, and required actions
• Provide financial insight and guidance to Finance Management, business partners, and stakeholders on reporting, accounting, operational, allocation, reconciliation, control, and close-cycle processes
• Use knowledge of business strategies, financial drivers, treasury / liquidity impacts, stress testing, and operating inputs to produce analysis, dashboards, reporting views, and executive-ready materials
• Drive financial information requests to timely completion across the Finance team, business finance teams, treasury partners, governance and control partners, central finance teams, auditors, and other stakeholders
• Lead analysis and independently advance due diligence and implementation for initiatives, methodology changes, restructures, or other business changes within scope
• Partner with finance operations, specialized finance, treasury, technology, and other teams to identify, champion, and implement improvements to report production, system queries, process mapping, action tracking, and recurring analysis

• Adhere to applicable enterprise frameworks, finance methodologies, accounting guidance, control expectations, and governance requirements
• Ensure assigned processes, reports, and practices meet business needs, comply with requirements, and align with priorities
• Identify and investigate data, reporting, reconciliation, allocation, analytics, risk, governance, and control issues; drive remediation through resolution, escalation, and closure
• Exercise discretion in managing sensitive financial information, correspondence, deliverables, and confidential matters
• Conduct research and financial analysis to support reporting, planning, presentations, communications, recommendations, and stakeholder discussions
• Represent Finance and actively contribute to cross-functional, enterprise, or business / finance initiatives by identifying financial, operational, control, reporting, and regulatory risks
• Proactively assess assigned processes and champion service, productivity, efficiency, automation, and continuous improvement opportunities
