Manager, Banking and Network Risk

What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Manager, Banking and Network Risk within our Finance and Treasury organization. This position is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and strengthening the frameworks, processes, and reporting used to identify and manage banking and payment network risk. You will report directly to the Head of Network Strategy and Optimization, Treasury, and regularly collaborate with Treasury, Operations, banking partners, and other business stakeholders.

The responsibilities of the role will include:

• Establishing and governing banking and payment risk processes, frameworks, controls, and supporting documentation.
• Developing and maintaining payment risk reporting, including dashboards, KPIs, recurring metrics, and leadership reporting.
• Analyzing payment risk trends and delivering actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
• Supporting the oversight of global payment activity and banking network risk.
• Evaluating sensitive and higher-risk payment activity and helping ensure transactions align with banking partner requirements.
• Supporting strong banking relationships by identifying payment and network risks and developing appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Applying knowledge of global payments and the SWIFT network when evaluating payment flows, risks, and operational requirements.
• Partnering across Treasury, Operations, and other business areas to understand end-to-end payment processes and strengthen controls.
• Building scalable frameworks, documented processes, procedures, and resources that support consistent execution and risk management.
• Investigating issues independently, identifying root causes, and developing practical solutions.
• Providing recommendations that may affect internal stakeholders, external clients, and banking partners.
• Identifying emerging issues, process gaps, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

• 4+ years of relevant professional experience in banking, treasury, payments, risk, compliance, operations, or a related field.
• Post-sectional education in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of global payments and the SWIFT network.
• Experience working with banking, payment, operational, compliance, or risk-related processes.
• Demonstrated experience developing or improving processes, frameworks, controls, and documentation.
• Experience developing or managing dashboards, KPIs, recurring reporting, or other performance and risk metrics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and create structure in an evolving environment.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proactive, execution-focused mindset with demonstrated ability to build sustainable solutions rather than rely on reactive processes.

The expected salary range for this position is CAD $90,000–$110,000, based on the candidate's work location. This range reflects a good faith estimate of the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The final offer will be determined based on job-related factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable market conditions. Compensation may vary based on geographic location and will be confirmed during the hiring process.
