The Role Reporting to the Managing Director, Credit Asset Management, you will help take CPP Investments’ structured credit platform to the next level by managing a growing portfolio while building the processes and tools that allow us to operate s role is designed for someone with initiative, curiosity, and ambition to grow as an investment management professional. You will have real ownership of the day-to-day management of our structured credit investments and flow programs, while also being expected to improve how the work gets done.

You will use AI, automation, and data tools to redesign manual and repetitive workflows, strengthen controls, and make the platform more scalable. The objective is to spend progressively less time chasing information, checking templates, and manually updating spreadsheets—and more time understanding portfolio performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and developing investment judgment. The role offers an opportunity to build deep expertise in a large structured credit portfolio, help shape how the platform operates, and take on increasingly sophisticated portfolio management responsibilities over time.

The Team Credit Asset Management is building next-generation asset management capabilities to support Credit Investments’ growth over the next decade and beyond. The team combines credit expertise with technology, including GenAI, to drive alpha through operational efficiency, risk mitigation, and proprietary insights. The team offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of credit analysis, portfolio management and technology, with exposure to CPP Investments’ global credit platform.

• Own the ongoing management and monitoring of structured credit investments and flow programs across the Americas, developing a deep understanding of each investment’s thesis, structure, economics, risks, and performance drivers.
• Manage the recurring execution of forward flows, warehouses, asset purchase facilities, securitizations, and related financing structures, including funding, borrowing bases, waterfalls, and transaction reporting.
• Analyze borrower, servicer, collateral, and transaction data to assess performance against underwriting expectations, identify emerging trends and risks, and develop actionable investment insights.
• Continuously redesign how the work gets done.
• Use AI, automation, Python, SQL, and external service providers to eliminate repetitive manual work, improve controls and data quality, and build scalable workflows.
• Develop clear views on portfolio performance and material developments, communicate them effectively to deal teams and other stakeholders, and proactively identify issues requiring action.
• Build and improve the monitoring, reporting, analytical, and control infrastructure needed to manage a growing structured credit portfolio efficiently.
