The successful candidate will execute trades across Canadian and international equities while minimizing market impact. You will closely collaborate with Sales Trading, Research, ECM, Program Trading, and Capital Markets teams. Your mission is to provide liquidity and pricing solutions, monitor trading risks, and enhance relationships with institutional clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute client orders focusing on best execution
• Manage firm capital on risk transactions within limits
• Provide liquidity and pricing to clients
• Coordinate ECM transactions and block trades
• Deliver execution capabilities with electronic trading
Requirements:
• 5–8 years of cash equity trading experience
• CIRO-registered as a Trader, with relevant certifications
• Proficient in trading tools and market data platforms
• Strong client communication skills
• Undergraduate degree required; CFA progress is a plus
