Location:
Hybrid (Downtown, Toronto)
Duration: 12 months
Our client, a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for a Trade Support Officer to be responsible for working with a dynamic team processing transactions within our Securities Lending Operations team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.
Daily Responsibilities:
Close coordination is required with Front Trading Desks and other internal & external stakeholders.
Other responsibilities include collection of borrower lending fees, client revenue processing and reconciliation across all platforms and systems.
Additionally, this desk will be required to support the Bank of Canada Triparty program.
Must-Have
Skills:
3+ years of experience in financial instruments, capital markets and operations.
Demonstrated strategic team player with the ability to grow and motivate others
The ability to adhere to high levels of accuracy in a fast paced environment
Strong MS Office knowledge Process and time management skills
Advanced usage of MS Office Word and Excel (Vlookup, pivot, macro)
Nice-To-Have
Skills:
VBA coding and macro development is an asset
Operational and Client Service Experience
Securities Lending experience
Soft Skills:
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong team player
Time management and organization skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
