Manager, Global IB Expense Management

Lead the International Banking Expense Management team at Scotiabank in Toronto, Ontario. Drive financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis while optimizing expense management for better decision-making.

As the Manager of IB Expense Management, you will report to a Senior Manager while focusing on data analysis and reporting tools.

Your role includes preparing monthly management reports, variance analysis, and collaborating with stakeholders to validate savings initiatives. Enhance reporting capabilities and drive efficiency for the Expense Management team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on reporting frameworks supporting analysis and planning

• Prepare monthly management and staffing reports with insights

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes

• Oversee Head Office expenses and month-end journal processing

• Facilitate communication to resolve issues with business partners

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field

• 3+ years' experience in FP&A or similar role

• Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of reporting tools

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

• Working knowledge of Spanish is an asset
