This role focuses on managing financial support for Canadian Commercial Banking and reporting directly to the Director of Commercial Banking Finance. As a key player, you will enhance stakeholder relationships, lead financial forecasting, and help navigate complex P&L management. Strong analytical and Excel skills will be vital in evaluating performance metrics and developing insightful financial models.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage financial planning and full P&L oversight
• Provide month-end and year-end reporting
• Enhance financial models for performance tracking
• Support strategic initiative development and validation
• Cultivate stakeholder relationships across the organization
Requirements:
• CPA or CFA preferred with 4+ years of experience
• Expertise in managerial accounting and financial management
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial systems
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to support multiple projects efficiently
Lead financial initiatives and cultivate partnerships in a strategic role at Scotiabank's Commercial Banking unit.
