Elevate your career as a Bilingual Anti-Money Laundering Specialist at Canada Life. This permanent full-time role involves comprehensive reviews of Wealth and Insurance products and compliance with AML regulations.
In this role, you will report to the Associate Manager and play a crucial part in ensuring diligent compliance related to anti-money laundering for new applications, transfers, and claims. Collaboration with Operations and Compliance teams is essential, alongside detailed tracking in the AML Audit tool and interaction with advisors to gather necessary information.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review paperwork for Wealth and Insurance compliance
• Collaborate with Compliance and Operations teams
• Track audit outcomes in the AML Audit tool
• Coordinate audit info for internal and external regulators
• Engage with advisors for missing AML requirements
Requirements:
• Bilingual in French and English
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
• Proven productivity capabilities
• Familiarity with AML legislation is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
