Associate, Capital Markets Position

Our client is a leading Canadian real estate investment firm focused on diverse strategies, including mortgage lending and affordable housing. As an Associate reporting to the Associate Director, you will oversee the administration of CMHC-insured mortgages while collaborating closely with a dedicated capital markets team. Candidates with varied finance backgrounds are encouraged to apply, especially those familiar with securitization and the CMHC NHA MBS Program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage MBS pools from inception to maturity

• Prepare daily, monthly, and pool-level remittances

• Ensure compliance with NHA MBS & MLI Select standards

• Respond to internal and external audit requests

• Undertake process improvement projects using AI tools

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Business or Finance

• 2-3 years of experience in real estate or finance

• Familiarity with CMHC NHA MBS Program preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

• Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented mindset

Excel in multifamily mortgage administration and relationship management as an Associate in Capital Markets.
