Our Canadian operation, Canaccord Genuity Corp., is currently looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to join the equity research team in Toronto. The successful candidate will be a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well with others and is willing to take on new challenges. Please note that overtime is required on occasion for this position.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Head of Equity Research and Research Analysts;

Coordinate meetings and travel arrangements;

Assist with HR initiatives and office management;

Process expense reports and invoices in a timely and accurate manner;

Maintain various databases, records and other documents;

Other administrative duties for the department;

Assist with special projects as required.

Skills & Qualifications

A minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant,

Interest and experience within the financial services industry;

Post-secondary education required;
Degree preferred;

Ability to demonstrate a high level of discretion and confidentiality;

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint;

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills;

Excellent prioritization skills with the ability to excel under pressure;

Excellent teamwork skills complemented by the ability to work well independently.

Total Rewards
The expected base salary for this role is $65,000 - $75,000 and will be based on the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications. In addition to base salary, Canaccord Genuity offers a competitive total rewards package, which may include:
