Position: Director of Finance at Michael Garron Hospital

Reporting to the Deputy Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Finance plays a vital role in overseeing the Hospital's financial health. This key leadership position requires a minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in financial leadership within healthcare or publicly funded organizations. You will engage with clinical and operational leaders to align financial strategies with overarching organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting initiatives

• Ensure regulatory compliance and fiscal stewardship

• Partner with leadership for strategic financial decision-making

• Identify opportunities for operational improvements

• Foster collaboration and accountability within financial teams

Requirements:

• CPA designation required; CPA, CA is an asset

• Minimum 5 to 7 years of healthcare financial leadership

• Strong knowledge of Ontario healthcare funding requirements

• Proficient in Excel and financial reporting tools

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
