Lead operational risk testing at BMO in Toronto, using risk-based analysis and independent testing to assess enterprise control effectiveness.
As a Senior Operational Risk Testing Officer, you will design testing methodologies and execute reviews across Transversal and Business Unit perspectives. You will assess control frameworks, monitoring activities, regulatory requirements, and operational risk practices. The position requires sound judgment, independent work, and collaboration with stakeholders, issue owners, and regulators.
Key Responsibilities:- Design testing strategies and methodologies for control environments
- Execute independent testing across organizational perspectives
- Determine samples through in-depth risk-based analysis
- Develop recommendations and Management Action Plans
- Oversee issue remediation through satisfactory closure
- Minimum six years of relevant experience
- Post-secondary degree or equivalent education and experience
- Operational Risk Management experience in a financial institution
- Strong independent testing and data analytics skills
- Mastery of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
