Director Treasury Finance Capital Markets

Lead Treasury Finance strategy at Manulife in a hybrid Toronto role focused on capital structure, funding, and corporate finance analysis.
As Director, Treasury Finance, you will advise Treasury leadership, Capital Management, Investor Relations, Treasury Operations, and Manulife Bank. Your work will cover leverage, liquidity, balance sheet optimization, debt and equity markets, and financing transactions. You will also guide strategic decisions through actionable recommendations and executive materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop capital structure, funding, refinancing, and capital deployment recommendations
Lead debt issuances, liability management, and wholesale funding activities
Manage banking relationships and negotiate financing arrangements
Review and negotiate complex financing documentation
Coach staff supporting Treasury Finance activities
Requirements:
Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration education or related experience
Minimum 10 years of progressive relevant experience
Strong corporate finance, liquidity, and balance sheet knowledge
Experience executing complex financing transactions and negotiations
Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder coordination skills
Bring capital markets expertise, strategic analysis, and financing leadership to Manulife’s Treasury Finance team in Toronto.
