This senior underwriting position covers businesses across Canada and requires strong business acumen. You will investigate proposals, complete due diligence, and present analysis and documentation. Key Responsibilities:- Underwrite medium to high complexity loan proposals
- Develop terms, pricing, conditions, and covenants
- Review packages and negotiate deal structures internally
- Resolve compliance issues and material changes
- Coach employees and mentor team members
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, business administration, or accounting
- Three to five years or more relevant experience
- Corporate or syndicated financing experience
- Loan writing and complex deal analysis experience
- Strong credit judgment and communication skills
