As a Senior Residential Mortgage Underwriter, you will support portfolio growth and profitability through operational and service excellence. The role covers mortgage decisioning, conditions, exception management, pricing, documentation, and service standards. You will apply lending criteria while managing risk and meeting performance targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate mortgage applications according to internal lending policies
Issue mortgage commitments with appropriate conditions
Review documentation for completeness and accuracy
Manage portfolio risk within authorized credit limits
Meet predetermined Service Level Agreements for cases
Requirements:
Minimum five years’ residential origination experience
Alternative lending experience preferred
Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
Strong negotiation, sales, and communication skills
Working knowledge of Google Workspace applications
Bring residential origination, analytical judgment, and documentation expertise to QFG’s senior mortgage underwriting team.
