Senior Residential Mortgage Underwriter

Apply residential mortgage underwriting expertise at nesto through precise credit analysis and a hybrid schedule from Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, or Calgary. Bilingual English and French communication is required.

As a Senior Mortgage Underwriter, you will review residential applications and supporting credit, income, asset, and appraisal documentation. You will use delegated authority, manage a high-volume pipeline, support broker partners, and follow regulatory and internal policies. The work helps transform the mortgage customer journey through transparent, digital lending.

• Analyze applications and supporting mortgage documentation
• Apply credit judgment within delegated authority limits
• Manage end-to-end files through closing timelines
• Resolve missing information and complex broker issues
• Mentor team members and identify process efficiencies

• Minimum five years’ residential mortgage underwriting experience
• Strong detail-oriented credit judgment and clarifying questions
• Organization and self-direction in high-volume environments
• Comfort mentoring and collaborating across departments
• Bilingual English and French communication skills required
