Analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial data as a Financial Analyst with Hydro One in Toronto, supporting a hybrid work model. This temporary assignment lasts 24 months.
The Accounting and Financial Analyst role consolidates information from financial and management systems. You will prepare reports, business plans, staff plans, and cost analyses. The work supports corporate assumptions, strategies, regulatory requirements, and internal objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Gather and consolidate data for management reports and budgets
- Prepare business plans, staff plans, and financial reports
- Analyze and explain budgeted, forecast, and actual variances
- Advise management on budgets and financial issues
- Recommend improvements to financial control procedures
- Experience working with financial and management systems
- Ability to analyze data for consistency and accuracy
- Ability to prepare budgets, plans, and financial statements
- Ability to assess procedures and recommend improvements
- Ability to provide financial guidance to management
Support Hydro One’s Toronto operations through financial analysis, budget planning, reporting, and informed recommendations across business functions.
