Asset-Backed Securities Credit Analyst

Analyze asset-backed securities using financial modeling and cash flow analysis at S&P Global Ratings. This analyst role requires office work at least two days weekly.

As an Analyst on the ABS team, you will build expertise in credit analysis and quantitative finance. You will support structured finance ratings through collateral review, scenario analysis, and clear communication. The position suits candidates with relevant capital markets, quantitative finance, or credit analysis experience.

• Build and maintain financial models for ABS securitizations
• Conduct cash flow analyses and review collateral pools
• Evaluate economic scenarios affecting credit ratings
• Communicate methodologies, findings, and recommendations to clients
• Improve analytical tools, processes, and data capabilities

• Two or more years of relevant experience
• Strong Excel, VBA, and financial modeling proficiency
• Experience in capital markets, quantitative finance, or credit analysis
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent work streams
