Credit Card Risk Strategy Manager

Shape BMO credit card risk strategy through analytical oversight, pre-delinquency optimization, and balance transfer program management. Work across Canadian retail and small business portfolios.

This Manager oversees governance and implementation for balance growth programs supporting risk-adjusted returns, losses, and ROE. Responsibilities include developing tests, improving procedures, enhancing digital capabilities, and supporting automation. The position also manages special initiatives, customer escalations, policies, staff training, disclosures, and marketing materials while partnering across business functions.

• Oversee risk governance for balance growth program implementation
• Optimize pre-delinquency programs, losses, returns, and ROE
• Act as subject matter expert on TSYS/TRIAD functionality
• Support infrastructure enhancements, retention, and customer behavior initiatives
• Coordinate escalations and improve customer-facing processes

• Strong analytical experience in risk management or financial analysis
• Two to three years of business experience required
• Detailed business case creation experience is required
• In-depth communication, collaboration, and influence skills
• In-depth analytical and problem-solving capabilities
